We make a careful selection of the product, since the origin, ensuring maximum respect for mother nature and animal welfare. The entire team that is part of our value chain has the responsibility to promote sustainability, safety and animal welfare. Only that way, we can offer the best meat to our customers.

We are rigorous with the attributes of the sanitary, nutritional and organoleptic quality of our meat. As a result, Carsiva is certified with IFS Food V7.

History

Carsiva was founded in 1994. It was born as a family business, dedicated to the traditional market.

Between 2006 and 2009, with the expansion of the business, Carsiva built a new Industrial Unit in Ponte de Lima, Portugal, with a dismantling room, fine cutting and packaging line.

In 2012, Carsiva joined the Vall Companys Group, a leading group of agri-food sector in Europe, with a large presence in the international market.

In 2019, Carsiva developed a premium cutting line based on a careful selection of the raw material and a handmade process, which makes each piece unique.
